Service Description

Nurture your young artist's talent with this unique After School Art Mentorship Program for Teens. The program features small group instruction designed for students aged 13-18 who are looking to advance their skills and build a strong portfolio for college and professional art practice. Rebecca has professional experience as an illustrator, artist representative, a fine artist, entrepreneur, and teacher. She is eager to share what she knows with a new generation of artists looking to make their mark. This programs runs Tuesday/Thursday with drop-off from 3-3:30pm and pick up from 5-5:30pm, following the school calendar for MCCSC. Tuesday - Group lessons and as individual critiques to help each student develop a unique work plan suited to their needs. Thursdays - building figure drawing skills. We do structural anatomy drawings and draw from clothed models as learning to draw the human form with confidence and artistry is the single best way to improve drawing skills and gain access to viable art career paths. Registration: When you register on the site, you will pay a deposit to reserve your spot. If you are registering more than one student, each needs their own deposit. There are limited spaces in the class, so we recommend registering early! If the class is already full, you can choose to be added to a wait list and be notified if a spot opens up.
